Berney Office Solutions, a Xerox Company, has an opening for a full-time Field Service Technician in Mobile, Alabama.  This individual will provide hands-on servicing of copy machines and office equipment at various customer sites throughout the region.  A company car is included with this role.

Your responsibilities:

  • Restore office equipment to proper working order through timely response and effective repair.
  • Use our customer service training to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, as you'll engage with customers at their locations on a daily basis.
  • Communicate and interact with customers, sales, management, and administration in a way that is courteous, positive, and professional.
  • Provide accurate call close information, parts usage reporting, and track and maintain accurate assigned inventory.
  • Perform other duties that support Berney Office Solutions and our service organization.

Your qualifications:

  • 6 months experience or more of repairing copy machines, printers, or related products.
  • Computer, mechanical OR electrical repair experience preferred. 
  • An understanding of basic computer networking is highly desired. 
  • Commitment to providing outstanding customer service required. 
  • Must be a highly motivated self-starter with dependable transportation and a good driving record. 
  • Must maintain car insurance with company acceptable limits and a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds, and pull, lift, reach and transport equipment parts and boxes is required.
